Rustic pear tartlets – A savory-sweet taste experience
These rustic pear tartlets are the perfect combination of sweet pears, creamy sour cream, and tangy Camembert or Brie. The crispy puff pastry forms the ideal base, while the leeks and a touch of white balsamic add aromatic depth. A touch of garlic and sugar create the perfect balance between savory and sweet—ideal for a quick yet impressive dish that's perfect for lunch or a relaxed dinner.

Ingredients for 3-4 tartlets
1 pack of puff pastry from the refrigerated counter
1 garlic bulb
200 ml milk
2 tablespoons sugar
4 tbsp butter
1 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
Salt & Pepper
2-3 pears, peeled and cut into wedges
3-4 fine spring onions
150-200 g sour cream
150-200 g Camembert or Brie
Here’s how to prepare it:
Peel the garlic cloves and simmer gently in milk for 10 minutes, then remove and drain.
Melt the sugar, vinegar, and half the butter in a pan; add the garlic. Let it caramelize over low heat.
Melt the remaining butter in a pan, toss the pear slices in it, and remove them. Chop the spring onions and sauté them in the same pan.
Preheat oven to 180°C (fan oven). Line tartlet tins with puff pastry, pull up the edges, and spread with sour cream. Season with salt and pepper. Slice the cheese and place it on top of the tart. Arrange the pear slices, spring onions, and garlic on top. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes.
