Salad 'Wild Rocket' - Diplotaxis tenuifolia
Lettuce 'Wilde Rauke' is the wild form of the salad rocket. Its narrow, finely segmented leaves have a strongly aromatic, nutty flavor. It grows in a rosette-like manner and is somewhat slower than the salad rocket, but has a significantly longer shelf life. It can be cut several times. It is suitable for growing in balcony boxes and, like lamb's lettuce, can also be grown in a cold greenhouse. A great addition to more than just salads!
Our high-quality organic vegetable seeds are grown according to the strictest organic standards for a sustainable and healthy harvest.

Rocket prefers loose, humus-rich soils in sunny or partially shaded areas. Amending the soil with compost before sowing is recommended. It can be grown in pots or sown directly outdoors.
Seeds planted too deeply will not thrive, as rocket germinates in light and should only be covered with a thin layer of soil or sand. It is ready for harvest after 4-6 weeks and can be cut up to three times. If you reseed it every three weeks, you can harvest continuously. Rocket is a perennial and can be harvested perennially.
