Spinach 'Gamma' - Spinacia oleracea
Spinach 'Gamma' is a slow-growing, bolt-resistant variety that's resistant to powdery mildew. Its dark green leaves are large and flavorful. It's suitable for both summer harvest and fall cultivation, as it flowers late. Eaten raw, steamed, or baked, it's a vitamin-rich delicacy.
Our high-quality organic vegetable seeds are grown according to the strictest organic standards for a sustainable and healthy harvest.

Growing tips:
Spinach prefers loose, moist soil in sunny or partially shaded areas; otherwise, it won't germinate. Amending the soil with compost before sowing is recommended, but fertilization should be sparing. Consistent moisture is important to prevent the spinach from bolting.
Sowing in summer is not recommended because the hot temperatures cause the spinach to flower more quickly.
Late sowings from September onwards can overwinter until harvest in spring; plants with 2-4 leaves overwinter best. Harvesting should be done around the heart to ensure the longest possible harvest period.
