Masterwort - Great Masterwort - Astrantia major
The Great Masterwort (Astrantia major) is a perennial herb characterized by its elegant, star-shaped flowers. The whitish flowers with delicate pink veins appear from June to August and attract numerous bees and other pollinators. Reaching a height of approximately 60 cm, the plant is ideal for beds in partially shaded areas and adds a special touch to both the garden and flower arrangements. The Great Masterwort was named Perennial of the Year in Sweden in 2005 and is a valuable addition to any garden.
