The high-tech fabric of these plant bags is typically used in professional settings and has the property that the roots of a plant stop growing as soon as they touch the fabric. This continually stimulates the plant to form new roots. Furthermore, the bags prevent rounded growth, the associated tight root ball formation, and the potential need for repotting.
