Celosia - Celosia argentea cristata 'Cramer's Lemon and Lime'
The Celosia 'Cramer's Lemon Lime' is a prolific plant with good branching and velvety, lime-green flower heads reminiscent of a rooster's comb. The fan-shaped flowers appear from June to fall and rise on stems surrounded by pointed green leaves. This plant is an excellent cut flower and is particularly effective in dried arrangements.

During cultivation, the seeds should be kept evenly moist. Celosia is very sensitive to frost and should not be planted in the garden until after the Ice Saints in mid-May. Make sure that the soil is kept evenly moist outdoors and fertilized monthly, as any inhibition of growth will result in stunted plants with small, premature flowers. Wilted flower heads should be removed regularly to allow more flowers to grow.
