Garden orach - Atriplex hortensis 'Red Plume'

Red orache, also known as Spanish lettuce, is an ancient annual cultivated plant. Above all, it is an incomparable eye-catcher in bouquets. The numerous small seed heads on the sturdy stems, which can grow up to 180 cm tall, shimmer in rich shades of red. Harvested young, orache is a wonderful companion in spring bouquets, but it also adds a special touch to any summer bouquet.
