Lemon Bee Balm - Monarda citriodora 'Bergamo'
Variety description:
The annual Lemon Monarda 'Bergamo' is an extremely versatile garden flower. The large, tufted, pink-purple flowers with their delicious citrus scent appear from June until the first frost. Thanks to its compact, rather low form, it is equally suitable for borders and container planting. The leaves of the Monarda 'Bergamo' are traditionally used to make herbal tea. This variety received the Fleuroselect Gold Medal in 2008, is powdery mildew-resistant, ideal as a cut flower, and attracts all eyes as a butterfly magnet in the garden.
