Switchgrass - Panicum virgatum 'Fontaine'
Switchgrass 'Fontaine' is an easy-care annual grass for gardens and containers. Its feathery tips sway gracefully in the breeze, creating a stunning accent in gardens and bouquets. It starts out light green and then dries to brown in the fall. It looks almost like the 'Frosted Explosion' variety, except 'Fontaine' grows considerably taller. Don't cut it back, as this will provide insects with a place to overwinter!
