Growing tips:
Cosmos are not frost-hardy and should not be planted outdoors until after the Ice Saints in mid-May. It is important to cover the seeds only lightly with soil and keep them evenly moist. Once they reach a height of 20-30 cm, they can be pinched, meaning the main stem is shortened. This encourages the plant to branch out better, the stems to become longer, and the plant will produce a sea of ​​flowers in the summer.

The long blooming period makes the Cosmos a perfect flower for summer bouquets. Its upright growth habit makes it a great cut flower, lasting up to a week in a vase. As soon as the bud breaks open, it's ready to be harvested for vase cutting.
