Small Quaking Grass - Briza minima
The annual quaking grass is a fascinating plant that exudes a special aura with its graceful appearance and characteristic movement. Its richly branched, small spikes grow on delicate stems and are an ideal gap-filler in beds and pots. In bouquets, the silvery, shimmering spikes add lightness and dynamism. The quaking grass is also wonderfully suitable for drying.

Growing tips:
Quaking grass germinates in light and should only be lightly covered with seed compost to prevent the seeds from drying out. After sowing, the soil should be kept slightly moist. Depending on the temperature, the first seedlings will emerge after 2 to 3 weeks. They should then be thinned out to a planting distance of about 5 cm. Quaking grass is an easy-growing plant outdoors, but unlike the tall quaking grass, it cannot tolerate prolonged dry periods.
