Growing tips :
During cultivation, the soil should be kept moist and the seed tray should be placed in a bright spot. Pinching is recommended to encourage the plant to branch out and produce more flowers. The plants can be planted in the garden as soon as there is no longer any risk of night frost.
Cut flower :
Globe amaranth is an excellent cut and dried flower. It is best harvested when the first blossoms open. Dead flowers should be removed regularly to ensure a long flowering period. Freshly harvested, globe amaranth can last up to two weeks in a vase and can then simply be dried.
