Drumsticks - Craspedia globosa
The yellow drumstick is a special annual plant. With its yellow, spherical flower heads, the plant glows from a distance, creating the impression of floating. Its upright and sturdy stem makes it a perfect cut flower. Even when dried, the drumstick hardly loses its color.

Growing tips :
The drumstick is a light germinator and requires light and warm temperatures for germination. It doesn't tolerate frost and should not be planted in the garden or pot until after the Ice Saints in mid-May.
Cut flower :
With its upright growth and long, sturdy stem, the drumstick is a great cut and dried flower. Once the small yellow blossoms open, it can be harvested and dried if desired. It's best to harvest the flower on a dry day and hang it upside down to dry.
