Garden Orache - Atriplex hortensis 'Green Plume'

The green orache, also known as Spanish lettuce, is an ancient annual cultivated plant. Above all, it is an incomparable eye-catcher in bouquets. The numerous small seed heads on the sturdy stems, which can grow up to 180 cm tall, shimmer in rich shades of green. Harvested young, the orache is a wonderful companion in spring bouquets, but it also adds a special touch to any summer bouquet.
