Growing tips:

Swiss chard requires a relatively large amount of water, and it needs to be applied evenly. This is the only way to keep its leaf stems tender. Make sure you choose deep, humus-rich soil. It has similar requirements to beets, but the soil doesn't need to be loosened as deeply. To ensure a consistent harvest, you can replant Swiss chard at regular intervals. Make sure you leave enough space between the plants to allow for healthy growth.
